Yamaha RS-100T Torque induction series, also known as RS-100 series, is a series of two-stroke motorcycle models manufactured by Yamaha Motors Co. Ltd as a successor of the Philippines’ most popular 2T motorcycle/tricycle model. It debuted in 1977 especially for the Asian market. While the older Yamaha RS-100 uses a pressed steel frame that also acts as the main body, the RS-100 uses steel tubes for the frames and metal cover sets for the body.
The Yamaha RS-100T comes in three displacement options – scooters, 100cc and 135cc. In addition to the three models that use carburetors, Yamaha also produces the fuel-injected 83cc model known as Yamha.
By 2004, the RS-100T was succeeded by a more efficient and environmentally friendly Yamaha STX four-stroke motorcycle. In addition, the 150cc model includes a key slot cover for better protection against theft. Starting from 2007, the Yamaha STX in Philippines began using fuel injection system to replace the carburetors used by most of the Yamaha series triumph motorbike, yamaha wallpaper, yamaha bike, Motorcycle wallpapers, harley bikes wallpaper
(Motorcycle)Yamaha YZF-R1 Motorcycle
In 2000, Yamaha introduced a series of changes to improve the bike, and minor changes to the bodywork to allow for better long duration ride handling. Yamaha’s main design goal was to sharpen the pre-existing bike and not to redesign it. The dry weight was reduced five pounds to 414 lb (188 kg).
At 127.8 hp (95.3 kW) at the rear wheel, top-end output remained the same, but changes to the engine management system were intended to result in a smoother, broader distribution of power. The bodywork was still unmistakably R1, although a few changes were made resulting in a 3% reduction in the drag coefficient. The headlight housing’s profile was sharpened, the side panels were made more aerodynamic and slippery, and the windscreen was reshaped for better rider protection Motorcycle wallpapers#YamahaMotorbikeWallpaper #YamahaDtx #YamahaBikeWallpaper #YamahaBikeWallpaper #Yamaha
(Motorcycle)Harley-Davidson XR-750 Motorcycle
The road racing version of the XR-750 used an aluminum oil tank, had a 6 US gal (23 l; 5 imp gal) fiberglass fuel tank, and a fiberglass fairing which included extra heat shielding to protect the rider’s left leg when riding in a tuck position. On the top center of the fuel tank was a leather pad with a round cutout for the left-side fuel filler cap. Like the dirt tracker, it used a Ceriani fork and Girling shocks, two 36 mm Mikuni carburetors and tuned dual reverse cone exhaust. Instrumentation consisted of a Smiths tachometer.
Unlike the dirt tracker, it came with brakes: a rear disc brake, and in front, a Fontana four leading shoe drum brake, which is two twin leading drum brakes paired side by side in two drums. The XRTT is the final example of a competition motorcycle with drum brakes, superseded by disc brakes on all other racing bikes due to the excessive unsprung weight added by the very large drum brake assembly. The official horsepower was never published, but estimates for the early 1972 engines were in the high 70?79 hp (52?59 kW) range, increasing to an estimated 100 hp (75 kW) or more by 2008
