The GSX 750S (US: Katana) received an updated engine for 1984, along with Suzuki’s other big-bore four-valver models. This is the engine that the first Suzuki GSX-R Series bikes were based on.
Current GSX models are powered by derivatives of this in-line, four-cylinder engine with four valves per cylinder, which is also used in the Suzuki Bandit Series up to the end of the 2006 model year. They feature a combined air/oil cooling system called SACS (for ‘Suzuki Advanced Cooling System’).
The current GSX series is produced as the GSX600F and GSX750F faired sport touring models, now in their second generations, and the unfaired, twin-shock GSX 750 and GSX 1400 models.
The bike was used to win the 2007 Endurance FIM World Championship super suzuki bike, suzuki bike, suzuki wallpaper, Motorcycle wallpapers, suzuki motorcycles

Engine changes consisted of an increase in stroke by 2 mm, enlarging displacement to 1,340 cc (82 cu in). The compression ratio was boosted from 11:1 to 12.5:1 and the cylinder head was made more compact and was given lighter titanium valves, saving 14.1 g (0.50 oz) and 11.7 g (0.41 oz) on each intake and exhaust valve, respectively. The valves were driven by a chain with a new hydraulic tensioner. The pistons were made lighter by 1.4 g (0.049 oz)[44] and used ion-coated rings and shot peened connecting rods. The crankcase breather system had reed valves added to control pressure waves in the intake airbox, a way of avoiding power loss.[4 Motorcycle wallpapers#SuzukiHayabusa #SuzukiHayabusaWallpaper #SuzukiGsxr #SuzukiGsxr #SuzukiHayabusa

For MYs 1972 and 1973 the carburetors had been three separate items with the complex cabling. 1974 models featured The unitized carburetors mounted to a single bracket with a less complex single push-pull cable arrangement for easier and more durable synchronization. The unitized carbureters continued through to the end of production of the three-cylinder models, when the GT750 received the Mikuni BS40 type diaphragm style carburetors. All smaller models featured Mikuni VM type round slide caruretors.
The three-cylinder GT models featured bifurcation of the center cylinder exhaust header. This allowed Suzuki to use four mufflers rather than an unbalanced “2 and 1” or a “three into two” exhaust arrangement
