GP Bike technical details
Restored 500 cc GP racer
While the 750 cc and 500 cc racers were very similar, the 500 had a much shorter 58 mm stroke, with the same 74 mm bore as the 750. The 500 had the same bore and stroke as the later 500 Pantah. It had 10.5:1 compression and initially produced 61.2 bhp at 11,000 rpm. All Ducati’s 500 cc GP engines used desmodromic two-valve heads with an 80 degree included valve angle. They used remote float bowl Dell’Orto 40 mm carburettors, and had a six-speed gearbox with a dry, multiplate clutch. Ignition was electronic, provided by nearby Ducati Elettrotecnica, but was initially unreliable. Dual spark plugs were used, and the final ignition system used four coils, two on each side of the frame.
In the beginning Taglioni’s Ducati chassis was used. It had a single Lockheed front disc brake and a twin leading shoe Fontana rear drum brake. Dry weight was 135kg (297lb) and it had 18 inch rims front and rear with 3.00 and 3.25 wheel rims. The wheelbase was 1430mm (56.3in).
In June 1971, Phil Read tested the 500 cc bike with the Seeley frame, and pronounced it the better of the two. The frame was then fitted to Spaggiari’s bike as well. It was raced in 1972 by Bruno Spaggiari, Ermanno Guliano and Phil Read ducati panigale superbike wallpaper, ducati panigale wallpaper, ducati panigale v4, Motorcycle wallpapers, ducati v4

Ducati Multistrada 1000DS
The 2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000DS has a 992 cc air cooled 90? V-twin engine with a 40 degree included valve angle, based on Ducati’s existing engines, with twin-spark plug heads, pressure fed plain camshaft bearings, redesigned crankshaft, higher oil pressure and volume, and new alloy clutch basket, drive and driven plates. The 2006 1000DS uses Ducati’s signature trellis frame with fully adjustable 165 mm travel Showa forks up front, and a single-sided swingarm, with a Showa fully adjustable rear shock coupled with a rising rate, height-adjustable suspension system at the rear. Brembo “Serie Oro” four piston brake callipers are used in the front and rear disc brakes. Front 320 mm discs, single 245 mm rear disc, and steel-braided brake lines are used throughout. The discs are now mounted directly to oversized hubs, eliminating the disc carriers. The wet weight is 504?505 lb (229?229 kg) Motorcycle wallpapers#DucatiPanigale #DucatiSuperbikeWallpaper #Ducati #DucatiPanigale #DucatiWallpaper
(Motorcycle)Ducati Scrambler Motorcycle
The Scrambler bikes’ engines and frames are made at Ducati’s Borgo Panigale, Italy, factory and then shipped to Thailand for final assembly. Production began in December 2014.
As of 2017 there are six different variations of the Ducati Scrambler model they are the Sixty2, Icon, Classic, Full Throttle, Caf? Racer, and Desert Sled.
Cycle World tested the 803 cc Scrambler Icon’s acceleration from 0 to 1/4 mile (0.00 to 0.40 km) at 12.46 seconds at 170.64 km/h (106.03 mph), and 0 to 97 km/h (0 to 60 mph) in 3.7 seconds. The Icon’s braking distance was 97 to 0 km/h (60 to 0 mph) of 39 m (129 ft).
In 2018 Ducati added a new line of Scrambler models with a larger displacement engine (1,079 cc) and larger frame, the Scrambler 1100. 3 models were introduced: Scrambler 1100, Scrambler 1100 Special, and the Scrambler 1100 Sport. The 1100 line added features that were lacking in the original Scrambler line such as Traction Control, 3 Riding Modes (Active, Journey and City), and a fuel gauge
